Patient support and education event
Monday 31 july 2017
6:30pm - 8:30pm
Join us on Monday, 31 July from 6:30pm for a belated celebration of World Vitiligo Day (25 June 2017). This annual event provides a chance to raise awareness of vitiligo, its disabling impact and the need for research and development of more effective treatments.
For those with vitiligo, their family members and supporters, this is an opportunity to learn more about the condition and the support available.
With a special presentation on the Camouflage Testing Project, currently being undertaken by Dr Jennifer Nguyen, together with the opportunity to connect with new and old friends and meet some of the doctors who treat vitiligo, this event is one not to be missed.
Book your tickets above. There is no charge. Light refreshments will be provided. Seats are limited, so please register if you are going to attend.
Help Run 4 Vitiligo make a difference
The Vitiligo Association of Australia (VAA) is trying to make a difference to support Australians with this skin condition by being a part of Run Melbourne 2017. Money raised will go towards a Vitiligo Research Grant to encourage much needed local research into vitiligo.
Please help support the team by making a donation to their Run Melbourne campaign. The more people that know about the VAA and Run Melbourne, the greater their impact, so please spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family. If you are interested in participating in the run as part of the team, please contact Dr Adrian Mar at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
