Associate Professor Peter Foley MBBS, BMed, MD, FACD
President - Skin & Cancer Foundation
Assoc. Professor Peter Foley acts as media spokesperson on all matters relating to dermatology, skin disease, skin cancer, clinical research and education. In addition the President of the Foundation also acts as spokesperson on any subject relating to current affairs or crisis issues relating to topics such as skin disease, training, research or clinical trials for skin related diseases.
As well as President of the Foundation, Associate Professor Peter Foley is Director of Research and is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne’s Department of Medicine (Dermatology). He has a wealth of experience in dermatology particularly in the treatment of psoriasis and is a visiting dermatologist at the Photobiology, Phototherapy and Biologics Clinics at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and the Phototherapy and Biologics Clinics at the Skin and Cancer Foundation as well as having his own private practice. As Director of Research, A/Prof Foley directs our rapidly expanding Clinical Trial Centre, the Australasian Psoriasis Registry and community education programs as well as having over 60 peer reviewed publications and being an investigator in over 50 clinical trials. He is a world renowned expert on psoriasis and has been invited to speak at numerous meetings in all corners of the globe.

Executive Director – Skin & Cancer Foundation
Executive Director, Chris Arnold acts as media spokesperson for all matters that relate to the business and management of the Foundation, including its organisation, structure and community issues. The Executive Director also acts as spokesperson for all topics and matters in relation to fundraising initiatives, fundraising outcomes, donations, sponsorships, partnerships, affiliations as well as the Foundations Ambassador program.
Chris Arnold brings experience in corporate, government and the not for profit sectors. His six CEO roles include hospitals, law firms and a financial services & accounting firm. This is supplemented by consulting experience in governance, structuring, strategy and business planning and mentoring.
Chris has held eight board roles, many in the philanthropic sector, including 6 years with Philanthropy Australia, 8 years with Australian Communities Foundation and, recently, with the Human Variome Project International Ltd..

A/Prof Rosemary Nixon

Senior Practitioner, Assoc. Professor Rosemary Nixon acts as media spokesperson for all matters that relate to occupational dermatology and the Corporate Skin Check Program.
Associate Professor Rosemary Nixon qualified as a dermatologist in 1988 and as an occupational physician in 1994, being the only person with Australian qualifications in both specialties. She started the Occupational Dermatology Clinic in 1993, initially at Monash Medical Centre where she was Head of the Dermatology Unit from 1991 to 2001, and then at the Skin and Cancer Foundation. She established the Occupational Research and Education Centre, a small research group, at the Foundation in 2001. She was on the Board of Management of the Foundation from 1989 to 2001 and more recently since 2009. She has organized the monthly Update meetings since returning from the UK in 1989. After recently completing a 5 year term as a Censor of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, she has recently taken over as Chairperson, Victorian Faculty of the College.
