The Corporate Skin Check Program is run by a team co-ordinated by Associate Professor Rosemary Nixon. A/Prof Nixon is the only dermatologist and occupational physician qualified in Australia. She is also Director of the Occupational Dermatology Research and Education Centre (see Research and Education). Skin checks are usually provided on-site at workplaces to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency. Timing is negotiable to suit. Checks may be combined with an educational lecture. If suspicious skin lesions are found, requiring urgent treatment, it is possible to fast-track patients into the Skin and Cancer Foundation’s many surgical clinics. The Corporate Skin Check Program provides an income stream to assist with ODREC research. Please contact the Foundation for more information.
